Liesl Schwabe

Liesl Schwabe's essays have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Review of Books, Tricycle: The Buddhist Review, and Creative Nonfiction, among other publications. She directs the Writing Program at Yeshiva College and served as a 2019 Fulbright-Nehru Scholar in Kolkata, India, where she also taught Presidency University. She holds an MFA in Creative Non-fiction from the Bennington Writing Seminars and lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and two children.
