Leah Souffrant
Leah Souffrant is a poet, essayist, and artist committed to interdisciplinary practice. She is the author of Plain Burned Things: A Poetics of the Unsayable (Liège 2017). Souffrant has received the New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Poetry and a Center for the Study of Women & Society award for her scholarship. She teaches writing at New York University and keeps a studio in Brooklyn where she explores visual art and its relationship to language. More on recent publications can be found at leahsouffrant.com.
